Capt. Party isn't a franchise or a chain. It's a family business on Franklin Road that has been helping families across the Roanoke Valley celebrate since the doors opened.

Our story
We opened our doors in 1991, and the same family has run the store ever since. We're a stand-alone business, which means the people deciding what goes on our shelves are the same people you'll meet at the counter.
Over the years the store has grown to carry a big, varied selection. Balloons, solid-color tableware, themed party supplies, gift wrap, greeting cards, costume accessories, catering supplies, baking and to-go packaging, plus our own sign and print shop. If you're planning anything from a toddler's birthday to a company picnic, there's a good chance much of what you need is in one building.
Plenty of party stores have closed in the last few years. We're still here, and we plan to stay.

Now stocking catering and baking supplies
When The Cook's Nook closed, we took on much of its catering and baking inventory. That means things like cake boxes, cake boards, to-go containers, chafing fuel and aluminum pans are now on our shelves, right down the road from where Cook's Nook customers used to shop.
Shop local, plan less
Big-box stores carry a shelf of party goods. We carry a whole store of them, and we're happy to help you plan. Customers drive in from all over the Roanoke Valley because it saves them stops.
